We have embarked on a program to plant trees in the three park areas and hope the trees will provide shade quite soon. We also gave the residents of Amberfield Ridge the oportunity to also order trees for their own property. The order will be placed on 28 Sept 2009 and will receive the trees soon there after. |

Water wastage at water feature - The pot was too big for the bottom part and water spilled on the ground so we build a bigger dam area. The problem is solved and the water is running again. |

Received the Environmental Management Plan from MPM Environmental Consultants and the following conclusions where made from that:
1) We have to identify what type of plants are present in the parks areas;
2) When we know what species are present we can plan how to reserve them;
3) If no special specie is present then we can plant water reserving grass, develop the parks area;
What are we busy with? Point number 1 where we are busy contracting a plant specialist to report on the species on the park areas, it is not that easy to get the right people.
If you know of someone that will be able to do that please contact Corrie at 082 901 9096? |
